BP plc chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg will be ousted as early as next month, primarily because he was so late in participating publicly in the oil company’s Gulf disaster response, The Financial Times reports. The same report says that CEO Tony Hayward is barely hanging on to his position because of board support. But he may be forced to resign in August as well.

Sony just unveiled a 7.4-inch HD portable display. This one boasts of an Organic Light-Emitting Diode or OLED panel and support for SD/HD video formats, 3G-SDI, HDMI, HD-SDi, and SD-SDi.
