GeeksPhone One now out in Europe

The GeeksPhone One was already shown off middle of last year but it is only now that the smartphone is made available in Europe. Te GeeksPhone One doesn’t feature Snagdragon processor and has not improved in the specs.

Google to release the Gingerbread soon

After the Froyo, Eclair, Cupcake, and Donut, Google is now giving us the Gingerbread. It’s the latest version of Android OS with a name so delicious. Brian Swetland of Google Android shared the codename in an LWN.net discussion.

No details were given just the codename.

Google Maps Navigation free for Android 2.0 phones

This is not surprising but the DROID and the rest of Android 2.0 phones will have Google Maps Navigation. That is, according to Google.

The feature will debut first on the Motorola DROID smartphone by Verizon. The navigator service will be free and will also include voice search.

HTC Hero to get an update
